My path to proposal and technical editing runs through nuclear safety compliance as a USQ Coordinator (WRPS) and, most recently, three years as a Technical Editor (H2C, formerly WRPS) editing calculations, design documents, procedures, standards, reports, safety presentations, and procurement documents. That's backed by earlier roles in procurement (Lockheed Martin) and subcontractor office administration (PBS Engineering + Environmental), giving me longstanding familiarity with the Hanford-area contracting environment, along with hands-on technical and compliance editing experience. My experience brings fluency to the specific demands of proposal work: tight deadlines, strict compliance requirements, and content written by subject-matter experts who need a second set of eyes.

That technical precision is paired with ongoing work as a freelance book editor, including nonfiction titles that have become Amazon bestsellers, and as managing editor leading an editorial team, bringing the same narrative clarity and reader-focused polish to technical proposals that makes a book compelling.

I'm currently completing my APMP Foundation certification to deepen that GovCon-specific expertise.
